Whales enjoying nice fall conditions on Monterey Bay

Tuesday, October 10, 2017: Lots of humpback whales easy to find near Soquel Canyon a few miles south of Santa Cruz on Monterey Bay. Humpback whales lunge feeding surrounded by California sea lions. We got some nice up-close looks at passing whales. Also plenty of jellies, visible in large swarms that make the clear jade colored waters cloud up in spots. Nice fall conditions on Monterey Bay!
