So much wildlife and a friendly humpback whale

7-30-17 Wow! One of the most amazing trips this season! BLUE WHALES, HUMPBACK WHALES, FIN WHALES, DALL’S PORPOISE, ALBATROSS, SUNFISH! Monerey Bay whale watching is alive this summer.

We encountered a super friendly humpback whale that  lolled and rolled around near the boat and even swam under the boat. She showed pec fins, tail, and rolled about for almost an hour!

In addition, we saw 10-15 Blue whales, 4-5 Fin whales, 5-6 Dall’s Porpoises (they are fast!!), Albatross and Sunfish (mola-mola).
Squid, krill and giant schools of small fish are bringing a multitude of wildlife to the Monterey Bay. Beautiful nature!
