Northbound Gray Whales

4/10/17: We started the trip with a pair of northbound gray whales. Then, headed out for the canyon, we encountered a single lunge feeling humpback. And then, a bit further over the canyon, we had a pair of two huge and very friendly humpback whales that circled the boat several times, approaching the boat so close we could see the barnacles on their snouts! There was even a sea otter waiting for us in the harbor upon our return. Not to mention gorgeous weather and calm seas!
