Monterey Bay whales lunge feeding, sea lions, murres

Saturday 10/28/17 -- Santa Cruz Whale Watching is still sighting Humpback Whales every trip! They seem to love the rich and abundant food sources in Monterey Bay. Last week we were entertained by a dozen or more Humpbacks lunge feeding, side lunge feeding and even a couple breaches! Many sea lions and murres(sea birds) were enjoying the feast as well! Friday, October 20, 2017 – Out on the Monterey Bay today we found ourselves in the middle of a feeding frenzy! Humpback whales surrounding the boat as we watched them dive and fluke up and spray right next to us. Amazing!
