Humpback Whales, Orca, Albatross and lots of Wildlife in Monterey Bay!

June 7^th: We found adult male Orca “Jimmy” cruising around by himself (usually he is with Aurora’s pod, but occasionally adult males like some alone time) and two feeding Humpback Whales! We also saw thousands of Velellas (by-the-wind sailors).

June 4^th: Humpback Whale “Waterfall” again, as well as, half a dozen Black-footed Albatross, California Sea Lions and Harbor Seals! 

June 3^rd WILDLIFE Trip: Beautiful views of the Santa Cruz coastline, Harbor Seals, Southern Sea Otters and California Sea Lions! 

June 3^rd: We observed Humpback Whale “Waterfall” playing and rolling around in a kelp pattie! This is a fun behavior we occasionally get to witness; Humpbacks seem to enjoy the feel of the slimy kelp along their skin. We also saw Southern Sea Otters and Harbor Seals. 

June 2^nd:  Humpback Whales, Black-footed Albatross, Velellas (by-the-wind sailor), Harbor Porpoise and Southern Sea Otters.

June 1^st: So many SOUTHERN SEA OTTERS, including one munching on an octopus! We also saw Humpback Whales and a Black-footed Albatross.
