November 6th: 20+ Humpback Whales, including a couple close passes by the boat! We saw Humpbacks “kelping”; they like the slimy feel on their skin. Sea Lions were in the kelp too. One of the Humpback Whales we saw was CRC-30091, the calf of “Direwolf”. (CRC-30091 was born in 2020 or 2021). Check out www.happywhale.com for more information about identified whales.
