Gray whales up the Pacific coast, Humpback whales in Monterey Bay

2/24/19 The ocean conditions were calmer and calmer each day this past weekend. On Sunday we travelled up the coast and spent the afternoon watching gray whales between Santa Cruz and Davenport. Quite a few gray whales, some diving, we had good looks at flukes fairly close to the boat.
