Current Sightings: On Tuesday we saw two Gray Whales. We followed them fo an hour and saw several tail flukes. We also saw a great Sea lion show as well.

Current Sightings: Mondays trip saw three migrating Gray Whales. However the stars of the day were the dolphins that stayed under our bow for a half hour! We saw 25 Pacific White-sided and 50 Northern Rightwhale Dolphin!

Current Sightings: Sunday, Dec 26th's trip was a special treat for our guests. We were able to follow two Gray Whales for almost an hour! In addition, we saw a Mola-Mola (aka Sun Fish) that came very close to the boat. Our next trip is Monday, Dec 27th.

Current Sightings: Friday, November 26th's trip was an awesome mix of Dolphins and other marine life. We went towards the Monterey Canyon and saw 30 Dall's Porpoise, over 100 Risso's Dolphins and over 25 Northern Right Whale Dolphins! In addition, we saw over 100 Jellies, a dozen Sea Otters and Sea Lions, what a treat! Next trip is this Saturday, December 04, 2010.

Current Sightings: On Saturday the 14th we saw not one, but TWO pods of killer Whales!! The second Pod was only four miles from the Santa Cruz harbor. They were feeding on a recent kill they had made. (Nature at work) All total we saw ten Orca and followed them for about 45 minute. Awesome!

Current Sightings: On Saturday the folks were treated to a good variety of animals including a pod 40 of Risso's Dolphin, Two Blue Whales and over a dozen Humpback Whales. Two Whales were Tail throwing and tail lobbing quite often. They saw several breechers in the distance as well. Still lotsa whales on the Santa Cruz side of the Bay!

Current Sightings: Sunday we had Two Big humpbacks Hovering for several minutes at a time before making high fluke up dives.
Then we had hundreds of Pacific White-sided and Northern Right-Whale Doplhin. Many were Bow riding for almost 1/2 an hour!! Great trip.

Current Sightings: Friday's trip was quite a trip. Many Blue Whales were seen from a distance. They seemed to be involded in very deep and long duration dives while chasing krill (food). The folks also got treated to a great little show of Risso's Dolphin's!!

Current Sightings: On Monday we saw two Feeding Blue Whales! We watched for about a half hour. We also saw 30 to 40 Risso's Dolphin swimming right next to the boat. Great trip.

Current Sightings: On Sunday unfortunately our day was blanketed in pea soup fog!! After we stopped and watched some Sea Otters and Sea Lions we returned to the dock and all passengers were invited to come on another trip for free!

Current Sightings: WOW!! Friday we saw three kinds of whales! First we had three Orca feeding on a recent kill. At times they were actually bow riding with boat and spy hopping. While we were watching the Orca's we had a Blue whale pass behind us and dive! Later we moved on and after about 15 minutes we came upon a big area of Humpback Whales lunge feeding on krill. Then three whale got friendly with the boat. Right under the boat for about ten minutes. It was an incredible trip. Just awesome!

Current Sightings: Sunday they saw a total o 5 Humpback Whales. They followed two groups of two for a while then found a single whale playing in a kelp pile. Curious behavior, but fascinating.
They also stayed with a small group of Risso's Dolphin. Nice Day.

Current Sightings: Unbelievable trip on Sunday. Whales and Dolphins were everywhere!! Three Blue whales, four different kinds of Dolphin and the trip was over the top with over 25 ACTIVE Humpback Whales. Three of them were ultra friendly whales that stayed under our motionless boat for over an hour. They were spy-hopping, Tail slapping, Peck slapping and just rolling over and looking up at the folks "people watching" Incredible!!

Current Sightings: On Friday we had heavy fog, but the whales were so thick they were fairly easy to locate. we saw eight feeding Humpbacks. Four of them circled the boat close in for about twenty minutes! Great show

Current Sightings: Tuesday's trip was an excellent excursion! We saw bottlenose, Northern Right Whale dolphins AND Pacific White Sided dolphins. Over 300 of them over the course of the tour! We also saw over 15 Humpback whales, including a full breach and several pectoral fin splashes. Water clarity was excellent and so was the marine life!

Current Sightings: Today's trip was quite a show! We saw 6 Blue whales, 8 Humpbacks, all actively feeding. In addition, they were tail slapping and lunge feeding. We also saw 6 Risso's dolphins and many seabirds including sooty shearwaters and black footed albatross!

Current Sightings: Saturday we headed for a report of Orca's to the east. We looked but could not find. This searching put us a ways away from the other whale. But we still managed to find a group of Two Humpbacks that we followed for a while. We got good tail flukes and one quick drive by from one animal. Then we followed about 40 Risso's Dolphin for about 10 minutes.

Current Sightings: Saturday's Sunset Whale watch Saw Two Blue Whales only five Miles out of the harbor. The big Blues stayed on the surface quite regularly while chasing krill schools near the surface. Then the boat moved on to a lunge feeding and tail throwing Humpback whale. Great show!

After seeing Bottlenose Dolphin and Otters right outside the harbor, we followed a Big Blue Whale for about 20 minutes, then moved on to watch 100 or so Risso's Dolphin, then a few bow riding Pacific White-sided Dolphin. Current Sightings: Today was a once in a lifetime kind of trip! We started off with @300 Pacific White-Sided Dolphins and Northern Right Whale Dolphins. We then traveled with a few Humpback Whales to some Risso's Dolphins. Then entered into an area covered with Blue Whales and Humpback Whales. Probably in total 12 Blue Whales and 10 Humpback. To top the trip off we had a friendly Humpback Whale 'playing' with our boat! What a phenomenal day! Harbor Porpoise, Dall's Porpoise, Sea Otters, Sea Lions and Harbor Seals were also seen.

Current Sightings: Yesterday we had 1 Gray Whale still here feeding but the highlight of the day was while we were watching about 500 Pacific White-Sided Dolphins, that were swimming and leaping all around us, suddenly they took off and 6 Orcas (killer whales) showed up!

Current Sightings: Sunday's trip was one of those "Ocean coming Alive" trips. First we had an incredible Dolphin show. Three Kinds: Risso's, Pacific White-sided and Northern Right whale Dolphins- Hundreds of them running with the boat at high speed for over 30 minutes!! Then they watched two Humpbacks Whales Chasing Krill on the surface while doing spectacular tail throws. Then, as if that was not enough nearby were three of the worlds largest creatures, the Blue Whales. They even Fluked up several times on their deep dives to the krill below. An Amazing Day!!

Current Sightings: Yesterday we had what are known as "friendly whales", which are Humpbacks that come right up to the boat and "people watch"! What a great morning trip! We also had about 500 Risso's Dolphins bow riding and 500 Pacific White-Sided Dolphins bow riding, a massive Mola Mola, Sea Lions and Sea Otters! All of this was in the morning trip and in the afternoon we had 1 Humpback breaching and spy hopping. We then had bow riding Pacific White-Sided Dolphins again! What a great day on the bay!

Current Sightings: So with the issue of our harbor being shoaled in for the last few weeks we finally made it out yesterday!
What a 'swell' day it was! We had 1 southbound Gray Whale and about 200 Common Dolphins!

Current Sightings: We had about 8 Gray Whales in the area but were with 4 Gray Whales most of the time. There are a lot of Sea Otters around as well as Sea Lions.

Current Sightings: Yesterday we had 6 Gray Whales with some really nice looks also Sea Otters and Sea Lions.

Current Sightings: Saturday January 2nd: We had an incredible day. We followed a pod of 300 Common Dolphins bow riding breeching and tail slapping for almost an hour!! Then to top it off seven Killer Whales appeared! What a day from Santa Cruz and Monterey Bay!!
