“I had the most lovely weekend at Sand Rock Farm B&B!”
"My husband recently brought me to Sand Rock Farm for a quiet, relaxing weekend away from the City and it was absolutely perfect! The historic home is cozy and beautiful, the grounds are gorgeous, and the proprieter, Kris, was so welcoming and helpful -- she made amazing breakfasts and provided us with great recommendations to fill our weekend, including restaurants, wine tasting, antiquing and local sites. The rooms were the perfect combination of quaint and comfortable, but with all the amenities (including in-room jacuzzis!).
We spent Sunday morning walking around the property and if I hadn't already had my wedding, I would look into having it here. The property is beautiful -- gardens and trees galore, with lighting and open areas for ceremony, dinner and dancing.
We had the most lovely weekend at Sand Rock Farm and I can't wait to go back!! "

The 1910 house is charming with beveled glass windows, inlaid hardwood, antique furniture and most of the original plumbing and electrical fixtures. (Some guests may prefer shiny new stuff, but we loved the older atmosphere.) Our most recent room even had a chamber pot -- along with a computer hook-up. The dining room and living room have an ocean view, and the Board Walk is within easy walking distance."

"WOW, do I love this place.
I practically lived here this summer, I was working here almost every weekend for so many weddings. Got to know almost all the valets by first name, tons of the servers and most of the managers.
Staying here is awesome already, imagine your wedding!
There are two major sites for a wedding ceremony with both being able to see out to sea on a clear bright day. The ballrooms can come alive for a super party and the food? THE FOOD IS INCREDIBLE!
I hope you do buffet! =D You'll want tons and tons more. =)
The staff could not be any more helpful everywhere from the valets to the serving staff to all of the managers.

The exterior and interior of this beach themed hotel are shiny and new. The service was excellent and the price was great. “Have stayed in other places in SC paying a lot more for a lot less”
Wow! I'm impressed with this place.
My sister lives in Santa Cruz and my family used to vacation here when I was a kid. I have stayed in many places around this area and have found this place to be the best value HANDS DOWN! And I've stayed in nice places like the Hilton Scotts Valley and the Casablanca.
This HIE has been open for 7 months, and thus is quite new and up to date. It offers amenities such as free wi-fi, breakfast, and a small business center where you can log in and print documents, sauna, exercise center and pool. There is plentiful parking, and it is located close to HWY 17...
We were blown away with the breakfast--there are bagels, toast, eggs, breakfast meat, cereal, coffee and juice. Nice breakfast, much better than standard continental. And it was included in the price.

I stayed at the new Holiday Inn Express in Santa Cruz in December 2009 while visiting family in the area. It's a beautiful hotel. Very nicely furnished in the lobby, hallways, and guest rooms. Spotlessly clean. It's located right at the base of Highway 17 where it arrives in Santa Cruz.

“Wonderful”
What a great place to stay! I would never have thought that a Super 8 could be so amazing. Great decor, super spacious, wicked comfortable bed, very clean and spacious bathroom, free parking, close to the beach, great breakfast, free wi-fi, extremely nice staff, just an all around great experience. I highly, highly recommend staying here. And very inexpensive for Santa Cruz.
“Good value in Santa Cruz”
We visited Santa cruz in our drive down the pacific highway. The hotel was OK, and the staff was particularly nice. We enjoyed the walk to the Pier and the sunset, The room was clean and comfy and the only problem we found was that there was not a designed space for breakfast, so we had to grab t and get back to the room.

“ Good Value, Convenient ”
We stayed here for three nights, Sunday-Tuesday - the price goes WAY down during the week!
The motel is a little old, but was clean and well-kept. It was one of the quietest places I've ever stayed - surprising considering Santa Cruz has a party reputation.
The Jacuzzi was very close to our room and we used it frequently .
Breakfast was nothing special - corn flakes, apples, juice, packaged pastries.
Management was helpful when we asked for extra towels, and about places to eat.
We would definitely stay here again.
“Very Nice ”
It's a bit pricey during the summer months and on weekends but I stopped a gas station and picked up a Travel Coupon Guide book and got the room for only $59. Of course, my stay was Sunday night thru Tuesday, which are typically the cheapest nights in any hotel. Plus, I was there in late September and the rates had dropped a bit anyway. It's a GREAT motel, just a walk from the beach and a very nice room, almost perfect. The room was clean, it had a microwave and refrigerator and a nice size room for the money. Can't beat the location!!!!!!!
